The Bombers is a group of seasoned professional enterainers with many years experience in the business. The Bombers show is a dynamic presentation of soul, blues, country, old time rock and roll, audience rapport, and down right great fun for all.
BOBBY CHARLES is our Keyboard/Bass player vocalist. He has played with Jimmy Clanton, Roy Orbison, Jimmy Reed, was the band leader for the world famous Longhorn Ball Room for 8 years, was a staff writer for Mell-Tillis Enterprises, and nobody does Ray Charles like Bobby does.LARRY KNOWN AS LD the man with a great pocket is our Drummer. He has played with Sammy Smith, Jewel Akins, Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Coasters, Sam Myers, and Willie Willis.STEVE POUND is our Guitar player/vocalist. Steve was in the Lab Band as a Jazz Major at North Texas State University and has opened up for Johnny Pacheck and Chicago and played with the Drifters, Blues Control, and Nightwing. We are all Texans and proud of it.
